Offroading

So, if you follow my other blog, you know I went to Barnes and Noble this morning to stand in line for wrist bands for tonight's Breaking Dawn Release party. Sid had the day off, so I asked him to come so we could get breakfast after. I wanted to get there early because I knew there would be a line, but we encountered a traffic jam (in Frisco terms, that means a ten minute delay but I have NO patience). So, I persuaded Sid to take a short cut. Uh huh. Do you know my history with short cuts? They are never shorter, but I take them anyway. It's who I am. We took the wrong county road, so what SHOULD have zipped over to the Tollway actually became a muddy dirt road leading to.....a dead end. Naturally. But, we had a heck of a time! His enormous truck and 37 inch tires made for an interesting expedition! And we still arrived with 15 minutes to spare. Nice.
