Don't know why the words of Lisa Turtle from Saved by the Bell just came to mind. You know the episode, where she's dating that super smart guy and she pretends to be super smart too? Classic.
I've stared at this picture frame on the wall, empty, for weeks. I finally printed a photograph for it a few days ago. It was taken on our favorite vacation (NYC - October 2007) from our favorite hotel (Affinia Dumont - perfection). We had a corner suite and from one set of windows, captured in this photograph, was the bustling city streets and the East River. From the other, we had the most beautiful view of the NYC skyline, so breathtaking it literally brought tears to my eyes (see pic below).
When that trip ended and our plane landed in Dallas, I knew I would have longings for New York City for the rest of my life. I knew that I HAD to live
there someday. And I had an overwhelming feeling that my life would never, ever be the same. I was right. All that being said, it seemed fitting to have those two photographs center stage on our bedroom wall. Just for the sake of balance, I've includued the photo in the other frame.

I think you and Sid need to find jobs there and just do it - move there for a year (no longer, hear?). I promise to come see you really, really often. I, too, love NYC!
