Tuesday Was a Beautiful Day for Food!

Mmmmm.....I knowGod gave us food for the nourishment of our bodies, fuel for our muscles, blah blah blah, but Amen! - it's also yuuuuummmmmmmy!

Sid worked from home today, so we had Starbucks for breakfast (only 160 calories in my latte) and a light sandwich at home for lunch. For dinner? I made cheesy chicken enchiladas and we literally inhaled them and licked the plate. Sooo delicious, and I don't even feel bad for braggin on myself. Oh my enchilada!

To top it off (after about 2 hours of recovery from dinner), we made coffee fraps - coffee and chocolate syrup blended with ice, a tiny little bit of Baileys, topped with whipped cream (fat free, of course) and a little drizzle of chocolate.
Would you believe it? I stayed within my calorie range for the day. I am a zig-zagger, though, meaning I have five lower calorie days with two high calorie days (about 200 calories higher than normal) randomly during the week. Supposedly it helps the body burn more fat, and so far, it's working so you certainly won't hear this gal complaining! I try to eat yummy things on those days so I never feel like I have to cheat. Since today was especially delicious, however, I couldn't shake the guilt. I don't know why, I just felt like I did something wrong, so I walked this morning and evening.
