Our local diner, Lucy's, was recently listed in Texas Monthly's "40 Best Small Town Cafes." We celebrated with them tonight by chowing down on fried pickles and their delicious cake. Yummy!

And the best part was that our entire (40 best small town cafe) dinner was only $16.00! Gotta eat cheap during times of a recession...
Ha ha. I should have mentioned that we've eaten there 4 days in a row. Saturday night with my parents, Sunday morning for breakfast, Monday for lunch and Tuesday for the party.
Dang, that cake looks good. I am not sure it gets any better than fried pickles and cake. Sure you're not pregnant?
