The day finally arrived! We set our alarms for 3:30 AM, showered, dressed, collapsed like zombies in the Jeep at 4:30, headed to Amanda's, piled into another car, loaded the plane, stepped off the plane 3 hours later, took the train to NY Penn Station, walked up the subway stairs and...drum roll please...we were in New York City! Here is a shot of 5th Avenue near 58th Street.
